Karoon Petrochemical co. produced about 1200 tons of Toluene Diisocyanates during February and March 2010.
The produced TDI has at least a quality of 99.99% which in comparison with default quality (99.5%) and quality of the best producers in the world has a very high quality.
During the period, this company has also produced 2000 tons of HCl and 1300 tons of NaOCl and sent to local bazaar as byproducts.
Karoon Petrochemical is the first Isocyanates producer in the Middle East with a nominal capacity of about 40000 Tons per year. It’s located at Site 2 of Petrochemical Special Economic Zone in south west of Iran.
TDI is the main product of the company whose some of applications include: Polyurethane foams, Insulation, House hold refrigerators, Residential sheathing or commercial roofing, Floor finishes, wood finishes and paint, Adhesive and sealant compounds.
